Join The Social Pedagogy Professional Association and academics from the UK, Denmark and Brazil (including Mogens Jensen, Lotte Junker-Harbo, Line Sojberg Bjerre, Mark Smith, Maria Helena Zamora) in their exploration of how reactions to increasing global complexity seek to manage ambiguity and uncertainty through codifying professional knowledge, systematising practice through ‘evidence-based’ manuals, and the value and opportunities in social pedagogy in policy, education, theory and practice.
This seminar brings together some of the contributions to the next Special Issue of the International Journal of Social Pedagogy, Edited by Prof Mark Smith, to be published in 2020.
