Our one day Focused Learning Days are designed to equip you with knowledge and skills to improve your practice. Who the learning day is for:

The course will be of value to social pedagogues and those in the arts and cultural sector who work or intend to work with children, young people, and adults, in difficult / disadvantaged circumstances / contexts, especially with children and young people who are in the care of the state.

Arts and culture organisations and care services practitioners and managers will benefit from attending and sharing practice.

Course overview:
The day will enable space for conversations about the place of arts and cultural organisations and practitioners within social pedagogy, building on a variety of creative practice. Sharing practice and experiences will be at the heart of this day. We hope the event will be of value to social pedagogues and those in the arts and cultural sector. Find out more

SPPA Northern Ireland engagement meeting
As part of SPPA’s national engagement strategy, there will also be a SPPA meeting at the end of the day to develop the SPPA network and activity in Northern Ireland. This will be facilitated by Prof Claire Cameron. Help us shape what SPPA in Northern Ireland will look like.
