About the course

We are currently experiencing a global pandemic and are seeing the effects of Coronavirus impact on our personal and working lives.  We are having to quickly adapt to different and innovative ways of working that can provide the support people need whilst also keeping everybody safe.  Leadership and ethical practice are important factors in managing complexity, tension and crisis situations to bring about positive outcomes and change.  Social pedagogy is an ethical and theoretical framework that recognises the importance of creating strong, authentic relationships and uses a strength based perspective to the work alongside people in times of crisis.

When nothing is certain, everything is possible

About the tester session

This online session will give you an opportunity to:

  • Find out more about social pedagogy, ethical leadership and change
  • Look at the content of the course as well as some of the key concepts and theories you would be studying in more detail
  • Ask any questions you may have about the course and hear from past students about their experiences of the course

All of the modules have an assessment that is related directly to supporting change in practice.  During the session, there will be a chance to hear about these and some of the work past students have completed.
