We were delighted to officially launch SPPA on 21st February 2017 at the British Academy in London.
Prof Becky Francies, Director of UCL Institute of Education (IOE) interviewed Lemn Sissay MBE on social injustice and the power of education to change it. Managers shared their personal and professional experiences of the impact of social pedagogy. Prof Pat Petrie and Prof Claire Cameron, Centre for Understanding Social Pedagogy (CUSP) at IOE discussed why we are establishing SPPA. It was a great night celebrating social pedagogy.
